Singapore High-dynamic-range Whole sky IMaging SEGmentation Database

The SHWIMSEG dataset consists of 52 sets of high-dynamic-range (HDR) image captures along with their corresponding binary segmentation maps. Each HDR capture is based on three LDR images (low-, medium- and high-exposure), which were captured in Automatic Exposure Bracketing (AEB) mode of our camera. The ground truth annotation was done in consultation with experts from Singapore Meteorological Services. Representative sample images are shown below.


All images were captured in Singapore using WAHRSIS, a calibrated ground-based whole sky imager. Each image crop covers the circumsolar region of the sky with a resolution of 500x500 pixels.
